Anyone know more about the error codes in Carsoft ? I get an error but no codes for the ABS and a whole list of errors for the Instrument Cluster but I have no clue as to what they are. My abs asr/bas lights are on..the brake switch did not cure the problem. Thanks for any help. Paul

Hi, Ive got a Carsoft 7.4 as well, 2 weeks ago I has BAS/ASR lights come on but my software reported brake switch/wheel sensor and ecu ignition switch faults. Having had the same problem last summer I took it to a specialist merc garage turned out to be a wheel sensor they told me fault codes come up all over the place when a sensor fails. I came to the conclusion it was best to clear all codes as they stay on ecu until cleared (years?)and drive the car until fault came again which I did . Second time it only showed brake switch and wheel sensor so I replaced switch and remaining 3 wheel sensors concluding they would all go sooner rather than later. Fault codes can be found on www.bba-reman.com
I also have Merc DAS but is so difficult to install on PC ive not managed it yet
Good luck
Ron

I have no doubt that if you go direct to Carsoft that they will be pleased to oblige you with info . Assuming of course ...............

Ive got v8 (legal) and it also throws up the odd blank error, for example:
Single diagnosis Traction - Statues: ERROR !
B1022
If you go into the online database, it doesnt elaborate on the error.

It also regularly throws up errors about EAM B1396 Heater circuit 1 from extra heater! As far as Im aware, I dont have an extra heater!

Best bet, as per Ron, is to clear all memory (after printing and saving) and then re-run the tests after the problem re-occurs.
