Cat D .... Really?!

can't see that one coming back, also it does not look like the airbag on the steering wheel has deployed

Hard to see how that's a D

Who would want to buy it after repairs anyway if they saw that?

Its an end to end mess - probably even needs a shell? To all those who defend cat D's as a bit of panel damage this opens your eyes? :)

To my unpracticed eye, it looks like it may have been involved in an accident at some point.

I thought the same about the AIRBAG! Scary stuff

A £500 deposit at auction end! Why would you leave a deposit that big on a £50 car?

I suppose you could use the seats and engine block to make some 'top gear furniture'

Funny stuff!

Would really like to know why the drivers airbag didn't deploy considering the amount of front damage?

Could be CAT D from a previous accident and this hasn't gone through any insurance claim?

Might explain why the airbag didn’t deploy if it was poorly repaired previously without the airbag reset etc.

Is that blood on the steering wheel I see ?

Don't know what you lot are on about. Most of that will T-cut out :-)

Besides, I've taxed worse.

when you put the key in the dash lights up but I have not started,i love honest sellers

Looking at the wheel it might be split open if you look close? Something white is just visible perhaps?

The damage didn't occur in a road accident, he'd just given his wife a weight loss book for her birthday.
