Would a CAT &nbsp;be covered under warranty?

What do you people know about CAT's &nbsp;on the C-Class?

Ive been told by other sources that they changed them on the facelift.

apparently they changed from having a twin pipe down to the cat, to having a single down pipe to the cat.

I am trying to help K with one, but unfortiunately thre only ones we have have a single pipe down/in and single pipe out.

Anyone shed some light? taking some pics of your cats/or manifolds would be a tremendous help! <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Mine is a 97 facelift model C180, it has a single pipe in and out. I will post a picture when I can muster up the enthusiasm to get under the car.

Thanks BlackC180, that is good to know, because i now know that all facelifted models at least have the single in/out pipe (we have 2 98 C180's sitting in our yard)

thats 3 out of 3

Sodo you have the funny twisty manifold which goes over and under on alternate cylinders?

I am particularly interested in guys with 95/96 c180/200's to let us know what you have.
