Anyone know if the cats I've taken off my 500SL will fit my SL60. If they don't, do they have any value?

So given they have little intrinsic value they are clearly worth more if they are interchangable as I've heard horror stories about the price of cats.

If it's not possible to use them I'll just sling them.

I have a set from my 500 and can't decide whether to keep them or not. I thought if they would fit the 60 I would keep them for when they die. Chopping and welding wouldn't be a problem, it's just that they may have differents values/tolerances whatever the tech spec lingo is, so what I want to know is whither they could be usefully grafted should the need arise.

Ok...another way of asking the same question. Does anyone know the parts numbers of the cats for SL60 and the 500SL?

id keep em, places like howard and scott should be able to retrofit them on, far far cheaper than replacement ones for the sl 60.

i had some hi flo ones retrofitted 5 years back, still going strong!

give hayward and scott a call, but yes i cant see why yo cant re-use them with a little modification.
