Hi,

I have bought this lovely Marc lately and absolutely love it. But, only drawback is that I cannot play any computer made Audio CDs as the Audio 10 Player cannot read the CDRs. However, it plays the original CDs nicely. Is there any way that I can make home made computer CDs which will play in my car stereo? Also, if add a CD Changer will it be able to play them home made CDRs?

Please advise.

Many Thanks.

Ak

Should play ok mine do..... are you using the right type as there are 2.
CD+ or CD -

I have the Audio 10 cassette player in my 2001 C270 so bought a second hand but genuine CD changer off eBay - it plays copied CD's quite happily most of the time - I do have the occasional CD that won't play. From past experience with the Panasonic CD changer in my 968, make your copy CD's at the minimum recording speed rather than allowing the software to determine recording speed - I had more success getting CDR's to play in the car by doing that.

Mine play OK - are you copying in CD format (which will play) or MP3 9which wont play)

Incidently, I notice there are a lot of sites charging for radio codes, I would suggest everyone should approach their main dealer first (if radio installed at manufacture) before paying for a code. Dealerships supply FOC against reg no and/or chassis number.

As well said above, just burn your cds at a low rate (mp3s work ok, I did 3 vest yesterday). I know you can burn stuff at mad rates, but I run mine on a 10.8 burn rate, and I always add 2 seconds space between each track assuming the software prompts or at least allows it, as one long piece of music upsets the audio 10, apparently. This was recommended to me, its worked every time since, and it'd be worth giving it a shot.
