Changing Led Headlight Mercedes A Class 2018

Hi all,

I wanted to ask and find out how easy it is to change a headlight(driver's side) on a Mercedes A class 2018.

Mine got a small crack due to a minor accident, and I am getting some ridiculous quotes to change it.

Also, since only the lens got damaged(the headlight itself works fine) how easy would it be best to change the lens.

Changing it isn't difficult. The cost will be for the unit itself and possibly some coding.

LED lights with additional functions are not cheap, what have you been quoted?

The lens is almost certainly bonded to the unit.

Well, new I was quoted 645 plus 2 hours to install and code.

Online I can only find that particular model 2nd hand for 400...

Some people claim it is possible to just change the lens but have to find a specialist in that.

Unless the used unit is identical it will not work but even if it is it may need coding.

Got it. I also found a place in Gravesend that can just change the lens - WorkShop – Carlight LTD Would that instead of changing the whole unit in your opinion?

If it is just a damaged cover then that sounds like an excellent option
