Hello


I have an idea of a Chehire meet, if this is already covered then please delete the post. If not..


From the list of people posting I see a lot of members from Liverpool / Chester / Wirral area that may be interested. So as a tester would anyone be interested in a meet?


Proposed location 'The Yacht Inn' on the A540 Parkgate Road. Close to motorway links, good pub and a large carpark.


Let me know if any one if interested, dates etc we can sort :)

Could be worth alternating venues with the NW meet (currently J26 of the M6 so not that far away)

Even though I'm in Worcestershire 4 years ago The Yacht was my pub!!! Small world. It has just been refurbished and is mad busy at the moment with cheap offers. A word of warning though if you are considering there, We used to get a lot of car breakings there as does The Tudor Rose,and The Hinderton Arms. It might be worth looking into meeting at Crabwall manor or even Craxton Wood, That way it would be a bit more exclusive.

Much more Mercedes like venues I agree. I'm at a wedding evening do at Craxton Wood Saturday :)


Never had a problem at the places you mention but thanks for the heads up. I agree its busy on a weekend but not bad during the week.

Very True, Craxton is a great place, Good shooting ground near there aswel. Strangely enough I'm having Sunday Lunch with some freinds on the Wirral this weekend as I've got to attend a family do in Wales on Saturday and its on the way back.

Must remember to watch the speed cameras and unmarked cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`m home until end of August,with odd weeks away in between;then driving back to Andalucia.

Just a suggestion--Vauxhalls Sports and Social Club in Hooton might be keen to provide hosting facilities--they often have caravan and other meets there.
I`ll watch this space!
 
I might even venture up to the posh part of the country for a meet too.

I'd definately up for that, only about 10 miles from me. I'm about 50 miles from the current NW meet.
 
Sounds interesting and my GF lives in Altrincham so if I start from there instead of my own house. Needs to be a different night to the other NW meet of course!
