What a great car had it nearly a year but by Christ can it be annoying with these little electrical glitches well assume they are electrical glitches or senser issues which come and go leaving you wondering why, The latest one popped out of the blue jumped in the car yesterday morning and this morning and on both occasions once I’ve started up and pulled away the driver seat starts acting up automatically goes down I press to go up it goes down then by the time I’ve got to the station some 5 minutes away it starts operating correctly leaving me scratching my head thinking what the hell can it be please tell me someone as had the same experience. Once it stops everything works as it should, is it one of Mercedes infinite sensers

HELP

Hi all again one member suggested having the batteries checked done that all good any other suggestions

I can’t give any advice but I too have issues with the drivers seat on my 2009 ML
It’s intermittent but sometimes I get in and the lumber support has come right out so I can’t even sit 🤦🏻

Thanks Wacko I can’t beleive no else hasn’t experienced weird electrical issues like the seat operating by it’s self and found a solution

The drivers seat in my CL one day decided to throw a wobbler. Moved back and forth, inflated, up and down, bizarre. I reset the seat by the door switch by moving all the way forward, holding for a few seconds and then all the way back and again holding. Cured it instantly and never had a problem since.

Thanks old guy so you have mentioned holding the door control for the seat forward when it’s fully forward and the same when back so is the official MB reset procedure just asking as I don’t have a clue

Doubt it's official but it worked for me.

@Blakebob I would be disconnecting the switch block and spraying some switch cleaner through it. It could be something simple like a combination of dust and condensation causing tracking between connections. This could explain why it happens first thing in the morning when cold and it disappears once the interior has warmed.
