Looks lovely. But, be careful when opening the doors that far as the rubber boot which houses the wiring can come undone which then requires the door card to need removal to fix. It's quite common.

Very true, my o/s door boot 'inner barb' has just parted company. Luckily I managed to cobble together a short term fix to stop the wires chaffing on the edge of the aperture and I've bought two new boots (they are handed!) in case the n/s is weak, they were only £8 each but look a little awkward/fiddly to fit
Seems you have to dis-connect all the wires and re-thread them back thro' the new boot etc ?

Hi Matt. Yes you would need to undo the wiring harness from the body/footwell area to do the job. It's not particularly difficult it's just a little fiddly. The carpeted panel is easy to remove. Just take your time. I'll try and dig up an old photo DIY I had. Cheers.

:o Apologies to all, I was wrong, or more to the point the parts manager @ MB Guildford (Tony Purslow) was . They are not handed at all, one part fits both sides and about £11 each.

Matt
