Car
2022 C63S Brabus 600 cabrio; 2013 C63 Estate (RIP)
CL65, no Reserve, 73k miles, on CC. Currently at £18k.

Quite rare things. Better at putting their power down than the equivalent SL. A bit laggy. Exotic feeling and fast as hell when they get going. My impressions, a fabulous car in many ways although I probably wouldn’t buy one at this age (of car). But I would take one over a Conti GT of the same era, possibly

This CL65 AMG’s most recent engine oil change was in June 2014 at 72,253 miles by Rivas Garage, Maidenhead

Looks good but the age and service would put me out of interest

No key-less stop/go, no distronic. I can never understand why the first owner would not have specified all the 'Bells & whistles'
It was a hugely expensive car to buy in 2004 and the additions would have been peanuts in comparison.

I looked at this car and thought of placing a bid but then when I checked the MOT history, it didn't give me much confidence that it was a looked after car.

Manual shifting noticeably reduces the lag. It's still there though and is my biggest pet peeve, ever. Read somewhere it's how Mercedes designs their cars to be driven - slow take off and progressive acceleration. Perhaps it's to do with the target audience these cars are made for? @Skd884 believes so. Either way, I'm not the one to be told how to drive so manual shifting and a cup of coffee in between the gear changes it is.
