CLK 200K 2004, No Central Locking or Alarm

Hi Folks,
I have a CLK 200K Convertible 2004, I can not get the central locking to work, or Alarm, I Changed out battery in Key fob, Mercedes say that i have to get a air pump charger that is located in Boot and would cost around £800 this right ?

Is it a easy fix can i get it done cheaper ?

Its ok folks, sorted fuse 8 in boot was broken , also made sure i pointed fob on drivers door , so so happy, Mercedes should have knowing this situation and tried it first, but know was info would cost around £800 to fix, shall call garage tomorrow
