I have a mecedes clk 280 year 2009 convertible can someone tell me where the amp is located please some people have told me it's under metal tray in boot right at the back some have said it's on the left hand side pictures would be very helpful if possible to please remember myne is a convertible

It's on the left as you look at the back of the car but it's not easy to spot. Drop the roof part way so that the tonneau cover is open and remove the trim from the left side, you'll find the top two bolts there and the bottom tow you access from inside the boot, up high above the hood pump.

Inside the boot on the left behind the rear SAM you can see the orange Fibre Optic cable going to it
