This guy must have gone to a Merc auction or have links with a dealer for part-exs. I have enquired about cars from him in the past - nice bloke, though I have not bought from him...and the SL320 has finished twice and the winning bidder has not completed the sale.

Moving off down the road, you then appreciate just how quite these cars really are, in terms of noise levels, it’s almost as though one is on tow, there is just NO ENGINE NOISE AT ALL!!!
Hmm, CLK55 AMG and no engine noise AT ALL? If I buy an AMG model, I want to hear the engine! Perhaps he's copy and pasted this from an ad for a Bentley 8 :p

I can honestly say, that this is the most highly specified CLK we have ever had the pleasure of offering
... but no COMAND ;)

Still, added to my watch list, so cheers for that ... :D

He talks a load of bo**ocks. You'd think he were selling the QE2 with that SL.

He needs to work on his cut and pasting

The drive of SL280 is as outstanding as its looks! The interior can only be described as totally sumptuous!! Turn the key and the 3.2 litre engine just purrs into life, re-affirming the sense that this car really is the total essence of class, style and sophistication. Moving off down the road the hardtop of the SL320 limits road noise to levels below that of many non-convertibles, cruising at three figures for example is totally quiet, and relaxed, the width and suspension set up on the SL make high speed cruising an effortless, comfortable and stable experience.

What is it then? A SL280 or SL320 :p

Nice when you know wot u'r talking about isn't it ;).

Nice to be "better than everybody" ;).

He certainly has a very impressive stock.

Are these vehicles Re-possessions? Some come without relevant documentation or keys, Hi-Fi needing code etc.

The CL certainly seems fully loaded, as do all the other listed vehicles.

possibly sl is a import???? as the auto on the sl looks different to mine ....the s/w ...switch is on the other side of the stick or is this the norm ?????

I think the sloppiness comes with the volume he deals with, although personally, I would be unhappy to have made those listings errors. He was very honest when I gave him a call about a 911, giving me more info on some ABS and gearbox faults which meant I could get a handle on the true value of the car. I think some of his stuff is auction clearance stock he had an S320 in rough condition (loads of electrical niggles) which stuck for a while and some very nice stock including what looked like a mint (import) Testarossa!
