My 2005 CLS has a weedy hooter for a car of this size and type. Is there a suitable alternative that is louder and stronger and can just be fitted easily without any relay issues.

I seem to remember reading there are 2 horn sirens - one deep pitch and one high pitch that get triggered when you push the horn button.

Perhaps one of yours has stopped working?

Pretty loud noise from my CLS horn on the rare occasions I have had to use so far.

Yep, should be 2, one high tone, one low which is how you get the 'angry' noise.

One of them will be staring at you when you open the bonnet, which is easy to check, but the other is buried in the corner of the front bumper.

Thanks, I will take a look.

Thanks for the info

Is it weedy when stood in front of the car or just sounds like it is from inside, there's a hell of a lot of insulation between them and the cabin.

Or just press it yourself with the window down and you stood outside..
My E class only has one horn visible but its definitely a dual horn sound, so as b1g1an says one is buried under the bumper.

Made someone jump the other day with mine so must be loud from the outside. Small hatch was going along at 20mph and weaving about. As the road opened up I drove past and glanced over to see a woman texting, face booking or something on her phone. She nearly dropped it after a dose of CLS horn!
