cls tints?

Took the cls (w219)to get the windows tinted today. A hour later he phoned me up to say he couldn't do the rear window as the seat and shelf would have to come out.
Is this true? Or should I try elsewhere?

Its tricky to do, but any decent tinter can do it. take it to someone who knows their skill!

That was the very reason i didn`t get mine done , i was told similar by Pentagon. They wanted an extra £100 for the extra work involved . apart from that i didnt fancy someone taking a fair amount of interior parts out to do the job.

I went to see another tinter, and he said the same thing. He would do it but I would have to take out the seats and shelf myself.
So thats something I will have to look into.....

Forget the tints. these cars are smarter without IMO.

I took the rear tint off mine as it was very difficult to see out with the window being such a shallow pitch.
