I currently own a 55 plate CLS 55 AMG
I have recently had sunroof issues pointing to the upper control panel, replaced the upper panel and all working ok.
My issue is that there is a cover with a small hole and some type of sensor in there (if it is a sensor), I originally thought the small led but noticed that was on the mirror unit. Basically the wires were broken. Does anyone have any idea what the sensor is called and what it does if it is a sensor, I've tried searching forums ect but I dont know what I'm searching for.
I've included a couple of pics, any help would be most appreciated.
