Evening all,

Firstly I can’t really say I have a problem as the car runs great at the moment. Been on some long journeys and the car is returning 65+mpg, runs well and idles rock solid.

I recently purchased a icarsoft reader from a fellow member (thanks Chris) and over the last few days been checking things over via the diagnostic menus. The only issue I’m coming across is relating to this code

I looked into this a little more and via live data of the fuel pump module I’m getting a fuel pressure reading of 0bar which is obviously wrong as the car is running perfectly.

I’ve done some digging on the 254100 code and some people have identified it as low pressure fuel sensor, part no. A 004 542 16 18 which I believe sits just in front and below the fuel filter in the engine bay.

My question is has anyone had anything similar or can shed some more light on the code.

Car for reference is W204 200CDI with OM651 engine.

Thanks!

Just to add, after a 300 mile trip down to Devon and Cornwall I’m also getting this code

Does fuel pump ‘A’ relate to the in tank pump? As when turning the ignition on I’m getting a gurgling noise from the tank area for 10 seconds or so. It will do it repeatedly if I switch the ignition off and back on again.

Is there a pump in tank of my ml270cdi w163
