CONFUSED?....W210 pollen/air filters

Hello all, Can anyone help?. I'm now totally confused about what filters are on my E200 02 reg ???.

Don't know the difference between , cabin, pollen, air filter element, dust, combination!!...where are they are what do I need to change?!?.


Last service with Mercedes part no MA210 830 08 18 was changed ?.

Sounds like pollen filter.

1. Pollen filter - its the one that sits behind glove box. 2 fiolters required.
2. Cabin filter is on upgdared air/con (dont know the name for it) and filters are instaled above foot-well cover. Charcoal filters - 2x required.
3. Air filter. The one that is installed in air box on top of engine. Only one req.
4. Dust = pollen = combination.

Cheers allias and thanks for taking the time to explain. I must be thick but with all the different names and combinations I got totally baffled earlier.

I remember my early cars only needed oil and air filter!...happy days!!.

Basically then, I think next service I'm due Air filter every 4 years I see.

Does anyone use K & N filters on E class?. Be interested to get feedback on them?.
