Hi Merc lovers...
Having an issue with my boot and cant seem to find any threads with the same problem.. I think my latch is goosed as my boot wont stay closed, i stripped it down today and the motor actuator was working but the latch doesnt want to stay locked, i can close and open it with a screwdriver acting as the catch loop, also the boot open switch on the door stays on when i close the latch manually.. the other issue is that water has managed to get in via the brake light and the opening handle no longer springs back to its resting position, I have to manually pull it back.. will changing the latch solve my issue of the boot not closing ... cheers
