I've seen on some american youtube vids, a process showing how to convert from Airmatic to conventional springs (i.e. once the car becomes too old/expensive to keep replacing air etc).

Does anyone have any solid UK experience of doing this? Is is as simple as just unplugging the compressor, removing the fuse for it, and swapping out the air strutt with a spring?

Would the handling be all to ****? Anyone done it?

tks,

Adam

Or use coil overs If possible???

Suspension would be the same as a car with shocks and springs .you would need a bypass module to stop any dash warnings . To answer your question.
