I currently have h&r lowering springs at the front with adjustable links to the rear on my W212 m157. Very happy with set up, however as I remember the camber at the front end is slightly out of range by a tiny amount but not much.

I now have 4X correction bolts (part no. A0003331071) at my disposal which can be used to adjust either or both the lower arm & caster arm by a fixed amount +/-.

Any one have or had h&r springs installed remember whether you needed to change 2 bolts at the lower arm or 4 bolts including caster arms to bring it back within range?

Also do you know the degree of adjustment these bolts provide?

Hope to install bolts this week and realign.

Thanks in advance 👍

They don't adjust by a fixed amount.....all they are is thinner bolts that allow you to move position of the bolt within the hole. I've never used the Merc version but Audi and VW ones allow between none and up to about a quarter of a degree either way depending on the car.

I thought the same buddy, i.e. a bolt with an eccentric end which turns as a pivot allowing for both camber and caster adjustment but apparently its only on the airmatic versions and possibly non UK spec 4WD versions?

We only have these fixed bolts, they only offer a small fixed amount of correction either positive or negative depending on how the bolt is inserted. I took a photo of the lower arm to compare with standard bolt, should make sense by looking at the ends of the bolts. The washer plays crucial part, it shifts the bolt either inwards or outwards. 👍20230216_154104.jpg

Hmm....so why not just use traditional camber bolts....they are available online.

The mounts at the base of the shock absorber fix differently onto the stub axle, it will not allow for eccentric bolt to revolve to give that movement. Its basically rigid once bolted down to the stub axle, photo stolen from ebay, should explain better than words 😁Screenshot_20230216_224819_eBay.jpg

It's been over a year and a half, finally I had some time to install the camber bolts today. The nearside was quickest to do but the offside took a bit longer as I had the intercooler charge piping in the way. All done now, just need to do the wheel alignment again.
