You would need the wiring loom and the ECU's to complete it, they are not cheap

Ask a breaker how much for the ECU's, it could only be the engine one

You can learn alot from here re the differences by looking at the engine ECU part numbers for a car with and without the kompressor

Yup look like its out of a W203 and has to be also as the W202 never had a C200 Kompressor engine option unless it was an estate.

Why not just buy a complete W202 C230K?

Yup look like its out of a W203 and has to be also as the W202 never had a C200 Kompressor engine option unless it was an estate.

They did in the early days here, but not later on, as you say all estates

An R170 engine and box or one from a W208 would bolt straight in, and given that both are basically reskinned 202s I would say plug straight in to the fuse box too.

Interesting, the reason I'm looking at this mod is; turboing it would probably cost more than sourcing an engine and gearbox. I could do an engine transplant for probably half the cost of a mosselman turbo kit.

Now I need to find a donor vehicle...
