Hmm. Citroen/Land Rover/Hopefully A124 soon!
Hey all, I’m new to this world of Benzes but I have Instagram, so basically I’ve seen everything and am an expert... (I’m rolling my eyes here - I have a Series Landie and a Citroen Xsara VTS and know nothing about Mercedes other than I want one).

I am living in Australia and have a hypothetical situation for you, which I may or may not get myself into.

I’ve seen a bargain A124 Cabrio for sale - E220 but we’ll forgive it only having four cylinders because it’s mint. I may also be able to pick up a cheap-ish C124 as well.

The Coupe is lowered on airbags - Accuair I believe and BBSs. Fully adjustable ride - from parked and on its ****, to perfectly driveable.

My question is: Is the Cabrio suspension the same as the coupes ie. can I swap from one to the other to have a stanced Cab for the weekend and a sensible daily coupe as a daily??? I’m aware the Cab is a bit heavier, but is it the same set up?

Thanks for your input.

I believe they can be swapped no issues (y),

You will just need to go over old installation on the coupe to make sure it's not been bodged on otherwise you will have to bodge it on to your cabriolet as well. But looks tidy on pic.

Looks classs, cant wait to get bags on my 280CE !!
