Perhaps should be in the OT section but I need a quick answer.

We have to send 5 bolts of fabric to various destinations all round the country - max weight ~25kg length about 1.6m

We're looking to use parcel force - any other suggestions?

Well there is Citylink which I think works out to be cheaper if you are a business, but their service it truly rubbish.

Where are you?

I use Quickshift Couriers on my business park and they seem quite reasonable when I've compared them to Parcelforce.

They're in Gatwick.

We are in SE19, Crystal Palace...

Parcel Force won't guarantee taking them as they are over 1.5m long ...
Addison Lee (who we have an account with and use for small stuff) are looking favourite..

Have you tried DHL? They offer a great service. Packages always get to their destination, never had any hassel from them.

They want 3x more to deliver next day in London than to deliver the day after to Cheshire....
