Crankcase ventilation malfunction….again!

Wondering if anyone can assist me please. Recently had diagnostic run by a local company (not MB dealership) and one fault code came up saying

“The valve for the crankcase ventilation has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked”

I vaguely remember this vault coming up before at a MB service and they replaced 2 bleed lines. That was in May 2021.

Can it really be faulty again so soon? I just called Mercedes and they said the parts only have a 2 year warranty. Should I be pushing them to rectify this for free as it’s only just over 2 years?

You can do nothing but try.....but I bet that even if it is the same parts they will say it was caused by something else so not covered!!

What engine? M274? If so the usual oil leaks through the valve into wiring
