so 12 months on and the ml (w164) is going well apart from a couple of little niggles
The main one being the drivers seat creaking constantly

Anyone else have this problem???

Yep.... The W203 C Class is also known for this... When the weathers better I'm taking my drivers seat out and spraying some silicon into mine....

My missus (father owned a shoe shop) says if its leather(?) to leather type creaking the cure is to rub talcum powder (or similar) into the seams or part that is obviously creaking. Otherwise I would go with silicon spray. Its good for plastics and won't hurt electrics.

Cheers guys
It’s more like a plastic creating noise than a leather to leather noise

Look like it’s spray time

My w204 does this, but if the seat isint all the way down its better

My E coupe does it. Silicon spray down the sides of the seat does the trick. You only need a quick blast..

I use a can from Halfords. I couldn't tell you of any issues with leather contact because my seats are pretendy leather.
