Cruise control

E 220. 54 plate. Cruise control will not set over 45/50. Mph. Any ideas?

If the CC worked previously and now does not then it could be that your rear tyres are worn and there is too much difference between the fronts and the rears. This was why mine stopped working.

CC failing to engage above a certain speed is often a difference in rolling radius between front & back wheels ... it thinks one end of the car is going faster than the other
