Daft mistake

Hi All, First post and a tale of woe !! After working through the trials and tribulations of changing the timing gears and chain on my newly acquired C180 Kompressor I have stupidity touched the alternator live with a spanner causing a brief spark. What damage could I have done ?? How to fix it ??

Best case you blew a fuse.

Worse case you fried the front SAM.

Hope it's the former rather than the latter.

Hi Thanks for the reply, anyway I can find out prior to finishing the rebuild. Any point in testing the alternator while its removed ?
