Trying to help a mate
His complete dash is dead.
The car seems to start and drive ok but no gauges or warning lights.
Is there anything common that can do this?
Would there be a single fuse for this?

Thank you

It sounds like your friend's car has a dead dashboard, where nothing is working, Here's what to check:

Look for a single fuse related to the dashboard in the fuse box. Replace if blown.
Check battery terminals for cleanliness and tightness.
Tap or press on the dashboard gently to see if it responds.
Consider a faulty ignition switch as a possible cause.
Some cars have known dashboard issues, so check online or with a dealership.

If nothing works, have a mechanic check the car's electric system.

No offence....but are you a Bot?......several of your posts are near identical and the wording is odd. Apologies if you are not or English is not your first language!!!.....and I cant imagine you would say if you were!!!

My thoughts on "his" earlier posts were that it's a bot!

Thanks for the reply.
I surprised me but it’s looking like low voltage when starting from cold.

It’s been ok since that one time.

Thanks Ken

Had same problem a couple of days ago, after much searching I found many possible remedies, so tried the simplest first. I pulled fuse #64 and replaced then fuse #52 and is all working again. Neither fuse was blown.

Wots a bot
