I've just installed a dashcam and have found that it wipes out half my DAB channels. It is a DDPAI mini 2 and has wifi so I'm guessing that is what causes the problem.

Anyone else had this and know a remedy?

Funny, I have just tested my Road Angel professional camera detector before I had it hard wired and when I connected the GPS antenna it shut down my DAB completely, no signal what so ever :fail

This is a common issue with a lot of dash cams

I had it with my T790 Lukas when i 1st fitted it to my W447 Vito 119 Sport
I screened power cable to dash cam and fitted ferrite rings to both ends of the power lead
bit of tweaking but DAB is now working in harmony with the dash cam

If it's plugged into the ciggy lighter socket, it's more likely to be the socket than the actual camera. I had this on my Lexus, and when I hard wired it the problem disappears.

I had a Qvia dual-channel camera installed in March, hardwired. No problems with my COMAND/DAB.

How did you screen the cable? Did you buy a shielded USB lead and was it any good?

I may give this a try as it is described as triple shielded.
