I shouldn't think fuel consumption will matter for to long if driving at close to 100mph normal.

Why? am i going to die? 80-100 is normal motorway speeds, is it not? i usually keep below 90 in this country, but once abroad and condition allow, why not?

Because you will not get 40mpg.:rolleyes:

Which is why I only get 38mpg on motorways.

lol... sometimes im amazed that authorities even bother trying to enforce the motorway speed limit...

Dont want to set off an argument, but ive never been down a clear motorway where around 90-100 mph was not the average crusing speed in the third lane.

Close enough though, although i reckon i can get close to that out of the c230k, without a huge load and a roof box, if i keep below 90 on a long run.
