Delays on C63 AMG

AM New to this forum so wish me luck lol, i have had a c63 ordered since august, mercedes benz were suppose to deliver the car early october but due to the ppp running out they couldnt could this really happen? now there saying my car is currently getting built since 26/10/10 and should finish production on the 14/11/10 and should come into the uk on the 24/11/10 i would like to know are these time scales really true as am sure it wouldnt take that long to build a car and deliver it would it?

performance package plus and according to mb they said it ran out so they moved my car to november, very confusing, all iv had is problems and headaches from mb honestly

welcome and this is expected for MB .... c63 take long to build like you i am waiting for a end of november delievery.

i think it due to the build slots . MB have different build slots for the amg cars and as there is a human touch to the car i would expect a long waiting list. i was sit back and just wait ... its hard trust me im pulling my hair out but youll get a huge smile everytime you turn the ignition .

i didnt know of any delay on the c63s due to the PPP issue .. i will have to speak to my dealer to get some more information but if its true its gonna be agony.... ive gone through all the c63 videos on youtube

Ive not got comand in my car , so have that worse than useless screen cover thats always up.. what in blazes was someone thinking about when they came up with that one lol

dont kill me for this but i like the pop up screen .

im sure the facelift wouldnt be part of the MB finance package if you went down that route

.. and if you got your car in febuary 2011 i would go ape on MB for the delay lol... i think thats when the facelifts would be out ?

i ordered it in september. i havent got a confirmed delievery date but was told by the dealer would be end of november beginning of december.

did you get a written confirmation for yours or just a verbal one from MB.

iv had a written confirmation but mb have been stating to me it will arrive much earlier than that date

Hi, I ordered mine on the 1st August and was given a date from then of the 30th November and have had confirmation from my dealer today that this is still the case and mine is booked for the build in the 2nd decade of November which is either the 2nd or 3rd week of November. It takes only a week to build the whole car from scratch and has a couple of days after that for the saftey checks. Why you were told October seemed a little obtimistic and not sure where the running out of the PPP comes from....I think you are being lead up the garden path my friend. Any C63 build takes anything from 14 weeks upwards depending on the spec of the car you have ordered.

I have also checked with the factory pick up team and they have confirmed the above so I know that my dealer is not giving me any porkie pies and also asked them to check with the factory directly to confirm my order is on track which again they have confirmed.
