Demon shine

hi all can i use demon shine snow foam shampoo , on the soft top of my clk320 convertible 03 as a cleaner

I just brought this because everyone raves about it...... It's just wash and wax. I thought it was some magical formula that you spray on and it gives your car a full valet, but it turns out to be just wash and wax that you spray on with a pressure washer and THEN have to scrub and wash off, pointless. I'm sure it will be fine.

im a bit worried that it might have a detergent in it tho they say only use a detergent free auto shampoo for soft top ? and it dosnt say the ingrediants on the bottle

I just read something that says if you treat it with "soft top treatment" it will be fine, other wise wash it off quickly, no idea if there's any truth in it

Pure clean water, and lots of it, thats all you need to use.
For any stubborn marks or stains use a product especially designed for the job, I find 303 Aerospace Convertible cleaner works well.
Clean thoroughly and proof x 2 yearly.
Try to use a PH neutral shampoo, and avoid products that say " contains wax", getting on the fabric.
Remember to include vacuuming as part of tour maintanence program, especially where the hood folds.
I was recently stopped the other day and asked to clean a mini with a fabric roof, "I dont want anything fancy she said, I only go down the road and pay £10".
The fabric hood had started to rot through in numerous places!!!!

ive been in touch with the demon shine people and they have said its ok to use there products on a mercedes softop also i rung up my local MB dealers who said the top is only a normal canvas and as long as the shapmpoo is washed off it will do no damage ,and only use a sp
ecial cleaner & protecter to get rid of stains and the seal to prevent the roof from leakage
