Well here we have my run about fuel prices having a impact on my situation so I’m using this derv to get about locally keeping the mileage and fuel costs down on the CLK.

78k fsh lots of little issues but it’s a pretty straight motor.

Faults,

Stepper motor behind the Dash click click click lol
Intermittent limp mode thinking the cause down to the Conductor plate see my other thread..... RPM and Speedo needle bounce
Mirrors fold but cannot be adjusted electrically probably broken wires

Had a EGR code so clean that up like new so far so good, Treated it also to a new MAP sensor and MAF sensor,

Steering wheel on the ****, may even contribute to the ESP and TRACs CAN error so she will be getting the steering set up Monday.
Then if that persists perhaps i will try another ABS TRACS unit of the ebay.

She drives well despite all of the above achieving the 35-45mpg locally much better than the 18-20 with the v8 lol

I've bought it some new mats and some fresh plates along with some number plate holders, Changed the buttons on the stereo as they were worn.

Changed the Fuel filter and Air filter horrible weather today so will be doing the oil and filter tomorrow

Weather wasn't to bad abit blowy, started to run a little out of time in the end but got it done.

I'll book you in next time haha

Well got to the bottom of the limp mode see my other thread,

Brabus wheels back on the CLK so I’ve put the clk’s on the C, rather suit it I think.

The original C-class one are in terrible condition.

Well the stepper motor has been fixed by the fixit fairies 🧚‍♀️ lol

I’ve also changed the conductor plate and pilot bush as this was leaking.

Also fitted 2 new KYB shocks so that’s the creaking rear suspension sorted too!

More detailing today the little things really make a difference.

One last issue is the mirrors, ns doesn’t do anything, the os just adjust up n Down.

The power fold in but you really have to press the fold in button hard so I’m thinking it’s a switch issue not the wires as these seemed ok wen I looked.

The mirrors on mine wouldn't adjust after its 2 year hibernation but after going back into semi regular use and a few tries they came back to life.
Mine has also started clicking from the dash in the last week. It happens when I start up, I switch from auto and move things about a bit or switch the blower off. It stops clicking after a minute or so, press auto again and we are good for a few days.
The CLK wheels really suit the 203, nice to see a different look.

Get someone to put some pressure on the mirror when the button is pressed, see if it gets it moving . Can you hear whirring from the non moving mirror ?
Edit , I just read your post again , ignore my reply
