hello all, keep looking at all these people with there cars they've had professionally detailed with envy, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of company or firm in the gt yarmouth area.seems round this neck of the woods no one seems to care about there cars. been trying to get my wheels powdercoated for the best part of a week,and unless you want to do most of the work for them ie take the wheels off, tyres off, deliver same to them. there not interested. so hoping someone could put me onto a decent detailer who could bring my pride and joy up to a decent standard.

Speak to Steve at swalloys in Norwich he can do the whole job on your wheels great work and reasonable prices too. He welded two of mine done in 24 hours and I have had no more problems with them. He is also one of the few people who can actually put rims back into shape after you bend them

I had a quote to redo my 18" CLS wheels and I think the quote was around the 250 mark for all 4 to be blasted and repainted

As for detailing speak to Mark at Clean me in Bury st Edmund's he's on detailing world too sound guy

For alloys, I can also recommend BA Wheels in Norwich.

Detailing: Clean Me require you to take your car to their "studio". Suggest you try Auto-Genie in Wymondham, who will come to you.

I'm also in Norfolk, after looking around for a local valeting service I bit the bullet and bought some cleaning/ polishing products and had a bash myself. My work doesn't compare with the guys who do it for a living but I'm happy with the results.

For powdercoating wheels I'd recommend Aerocoat - they're local to Yarmouth and yes, they want the "bare wheels" with tyres off. I'm lucky in that we have the use of more than 1 car so I was able to get the local garage to take the wheels off the car & remove the tyres. Took the wheels down to Aerocoat and had them back within 3 days - the finished article with refitted tyres + balancing was well worth the grief of having to do some of the work myself.

Plus one from me for aerocoat, seen some of there handiwork on some friends and family members cars and very impressed with the results. Getting the wheels for my c230k done there soon hopefully.
