Hi

Has anybody got one of these modules fitted to the Merc?

A friend of mine has fitted one to his Skoda VRS & says it makes a big difference, but just wanted to check as the £300 odd price tag is.......!

The one listed for my car claims a higher torque than my Brabus D6.

The mfr list also contains quite a few tractor, plant, marine engines.

How is the D6 chip?

I have used the CRD-T+ on a couple of cars now, I am using it on my X3 currently.

It is similar to the Brabus D6 I had on the E320 in the fact it goes on both the fuel rail and the turbo.

I have to say that the D6 on the 320, the CRD-T+ on the 530d and on my current 20d X3 are the best tuning I have had.

Better than some of the big tuners with so called custom maps, the exception being DMS who did my 535d, that was as impressive.

But a big thumbs up from me.

How is the D6 chip?

Very impressive, not that I've really driven this project car which came with it fitted.

197PS to 248PS
500NM to 540NM.

If you could get a used D6 (including the loom and instructions) for say £275, that would be a worthwhile deal.

Had one fitted to my BMW E90 320, sent it back for full refund , kept putting car into Limpmode regardless of map settings, the company though are extremely good to deal with .
