Different touchpad?

Hi folks, I'm looking at a 018 C class 220d SE exec. The touchpad is different - or missing. There's just a flat pad beneath the wheel/knob. is this a touchpad or just a control knob/wheel?

Certainly no deal breaker when the car is £14k less than new !
