Distronic calibration c43

I recently had a wrapping company dechrome and install a panameric grill. The person doing this unplugged the front sensor and since then I keep receiving a message advising ‘Active Brake Assist functions Limited, see owners manual’

Been to mercedes today for them to complete a calibration and they advised that the distronic sensor can’t see through the badge and this is down to the star being wrapped. I have since removed the wrap and I am still seeing the same message, does this now need to go back to Mercedes for calibration?

Also is there anyone local in Cheshire who can do this calibration at a fraction of the cost or am I best getting this coded out?

Yes, but don't code it out, just get it calibrated after removing the wrap on the star. £150-200
