Do any OGs know what this old workshop tool is for?

As you say the cluster tools have a 140 prefix as they’d have been made originally for the 140 clusters when they first came out :thumb:

Same for some parts - the windscreen washer reservoir cap on my W639 Vito has a W124 part number on it :D

Exactly that, has been the case for decades now - this is just a bit more unusual in that it relates to service tools :)

But, did you know that cribbage is the only card game, legally, you are allowed to play in a pub for money?

The good news is that if you can't find a cribbage board, you can always play Dominoes....

Still none the wiser . Sorry , but the pins in the photo look very small , certainly too small to use a chassis alignment tool for a mass produced car . Poka-Yoke tools come in all shapes and sizes in car manufacturing, the ones in post#1 seem very uniform in size to be Poka-Yokes for cahssis body alignment . Body panel alignment tools are usually plastic.

But I stand to be corrected.

P P You feel free to find out more information about the tool in question if you can . I spent hours yesterday .In the end i posted it on the USA forum .I dont think its for the body, they would be more oblong in shape .

My thoughts exactly . Certainly an intruging one . I think we should just accept that it is in fact a score board for some kind of obscure German card game and move on . :D
