Door trim peeling?

Hi guys,

the black painted strip on the passenger-side door of my 2012 C204 is peeling away from the top.
Has this happened with anyone else cars?



any advice welcome

When I got my car the plastic parts you are referring to were wrapped very badly with black vinyl, they looked horrible. So I took the plastic bits off the car, removed the vinyl wrap and re-wrapped them in carbon fibre look alike vinyl, much better. I will take a photo tomorrow and post it up.

Here is a picture of both sides, they are not very good as I can not move the car out of the garage to get a better shot, its jacked up and no exhaust on it.

So the panels pull off then? Might pull them off, sand them back and spray them back to standard
Yours do look really good, but I’d prefer back to black if possible

No Tom they are screwed on with 3 screws if I remember correctly, and they are a right pain in the backside to get off
