How do I know if I have one of these fitted?

Go onto MB UK website. Enter your VIN number on the "My Mercedes" tab on right hand side after you've set up the simple registration and then it'll come back with the original build spec. DPF will be listed alphabetically as "Particulate Filter"

Looking on the Mobil site it looks like Mobil 1 ESP 5-30 is the one , what do you recon
I've been using that... there is also 0W40 ESP oil available, don't know ehere that is recommended.

If its a 2009 car it will have a DPF.
