Hi,
Does a 2001 Mercedes E320 CDi have a Diesel Particulate Filter.
I am not sure but I think the DPF was introduced to later models.
Anyone know when.
I was thinking of adding some form of lubricant to my Diesel fuel and I would not want to damage any of the Exhaust System or timing components just to lubricate fuel pump.

i wouldn't of thought so on the DPF front lots of people use 'Millers' as an extra additive to there fuel if your filling up with supermarket fuels but if your using premium fuels eg BP Ultimate or Shell V power etc i wouldn't worry about adding anything else

No DPF on your 320CDI. Adding Millers will be beneficial. I've used it for years and as already mentioned, a lot of members use it.
You can buy it in bulk at a very keen rate from our man Johnsco.

Hi,
Thank-you all.
I try to use BP ultimate when I can if not theres a Maxol station I use. Its just the ordinary Maxol Diesel but I prefer using it rather than Supermarket fuels.
I will look into using the additive you mentioned. I have never heard of it before but thats not unusual for me.
