Drivers door lock

I hope this is in the right forum, I'm noticing that when I unlock the car via remote the drivers door button goes up but the door's not unlocked, if I press the unlock button on the remote again the door button goes up just a fraction more and the door unlocks, my question is are the door cards easy (I am mechanical minded) to get off so I can get some wd40 in there then a bit of spray grease before it packs up all together.

Forgot to mention all the other doors unlock on the first click of the remote.

The door cards are easy to remove with plenty of "how to's" on youtube. Just be careful not to break the ribbon cable attached to the door controller.
