Yes true, I think you can get a module that turns them off with sidelights. Mine has drl but it operates dipped beam, be great if could utilise thisI'm looking into this too. First place I'll start is the underbonnet fuse box for a ignition only live

That looks good DaveThe control unit has its only inline fuse, just connect straight to the battery terminals, the one on the 22o has worked well like this for about 3 years & never blown a fuse once.
