Keep your eyes on the road and not on a DVD screen.
What a great idea. I wonder why Mercedes didn't think of that.Almahdali said:Hi all I have Mercedes e300 2012 model How can I enable DVD player while driving ????
Kenwood system in my L200 has DVD enabled when handbrake on.
Trouble is, with handbrake off the ability to make calls via the head set is also disabled with the dvd.
On occasion I would like to make calls on the move. Bizarrely this can be done from the phone which will then route the call through the Kenwood.
Did I see a Range Rover system once where the passenger could view the screen but the driver couldnt? The screen had a filter that allowed the driver to see sat nav etc, but the passenger could see a dvd on the same screen...?? Or am I making this up!?!?
Split-view I think it's called. Doesn't the S class have similar?
The handbrake wire normally just wants earthing to bypass this
But in addition to enabling phone (which would be good) it would enable dvd in motion which I understand is illegal - invalidates insurance![]()
