DVD not playing

Hi
I have a 2012 S204 with command I have just tried to play a DVD when doing so it gets to the bit where you can choose to play or scene selection and doesn’t go any further.
Any ideas what I need to do to get it to play, I was parked up hand brake on gear selector in P

No still does the same
