E class temperature

First post so please be gentle.
Just took my thermostat out of my c class.
Looks like original MB code is A 271 203 0475.
I bought a replacement based on my car registration which won’t fit in the housing.
Having looked at a number of parts sites the OEM above doesn’t seem to exist?
Any thoughts?

EPC has A2712030575 for the 271 kompressor engine

Sorry I don’t know what EPC stands for.
I have found OME codes for A 2712030375 and 0575 do you think both would fit?
The thermostat I bought was from Eurocarparts, having put my registration plate in, can’t believe it’s not the correct one.
