H Everyone,
I have a 2014, E250 diesel with an intermittent starting problem. When turning the key to positition 2 to start the car the engine cracks but just before the engine starts, it seems to shut itself off again. This can happen up to 3 times before it actually starts but sometimes it starts first time. The starter motor has just been replaced (long story), the electrical circuits have been checked out by a Merc specialist and are OK, the battery is OK ( I have tried a new one and still got this problem). The problem happens irrespective of which of the 2 keys I use.
Please does anyone have any idea's about what may be the problem might be?
