E320 cdi Avantgarde - New User

Hi Everyone

Not sure if i have put this in the right place, but here goes.

We are in the process of buying a secondhand Merc E320 Avantgarde, 3L. Cdi. We are due to collect it next week and it is our first Merc. Always wanted one, but only now got round to it.

I would like to know is there a way to identify if it is a Bluetec or not? It is registered October 2007, it is a W211 engine and a 7G box. Not a clue what these mean...lol.

If anyone has any useful info or advice about this model that would be great.

Is the Motor a V6 or I5. Should be able to tell the difference between a V or in-line motor within five seconds of looking at it
