Looks tidy , low miles, facelifted well but 1 incorrect headlamp lens (driver side) and drivers seat bolster reupholstered cheaply

A rare 1995 (if it really is - note steering wheel is early type not sportline), for the same price and low miles too! Wonder who the independent MB garage it belongs to?

You might be right there,it would explain why it does not have the sportline one as maybe wood&leather was factory fitted

But also I think there`s a chap in Germany that sells steering wheels like that

It kills me to say,not anytime soon .Few years ago I looked for one with very little luck,the only one at the time for sale was a silver one at Avantgarde but he would not drop the price
Lucky I did not buy it as a member did and spent a fair bit of money on it

That`s when I decided to find a good spec 320,which is my project car now

What does that imply?

The only thing letting that car down is the patch on the seat, what clown would do that... totally the wrong shade.

Otherwise looks lovely and so does the silver one in London.

That's the downside of 036s , bits are spendy and you almost have to budget at least 50% of what you paid for in the 1st year to put it right!

Regretfully, yes. Since I live in the Centre of London and with no Garage, I didn't want to hear about it being in a container on the way to Africa or Eastern Europe. Besides, it's in a proper home these days, Indy tech known to Spike and myself.

My brain still tells me that one of those would be lovely to sit alongside the SL, and I agree with it.

My body then reminds me that driving with the steering wheel in your lap isn't really practical.
